Launch exhibition ‘Drawn to sport’

The exhibition is a celebration of the life and artwork of Huddersfield born Ken Taylor. A local cricket and football legend, he played cricket for Yorkshire and England and football for Huddersfield Town. He developed a talent for art at an early age and went to the prestigious Slade Art School in London, he eventually went on to become an art teacher in Norfolk.
The exhibition will contain paintings of Huddersfield when the mills were still there. There will also be drawings of national football and cricket colleagues, some of them signed.
There will also be sporting memorabilia.
